Export, Import & Transportation
FEMA monitors issues involving export, import and transport of flavor materials for its membership. Recent issues include the Lacey Act amendments, CITES, and USDA Export Certificate requirements. In addition, FEMA monitors the regulatory activity of the Department of Transportation, Drug Enforcement Agency, and U.S. Customs and Border Control.
