Intellectual Property
One of FEMA’s critical objectives, intellectual property protection is core to the mission of the association. FEMA staff actively works to safeguard proprietary formula information in a technologically evolving world and provide guidance to members on appropriate ingredient disclosure.
In 2007, the FEMA Regulatory Affairs Committee Task Force on Intellectual Property Issues prepared a White Paper to assist the membership in protecting their flavor formulations.
