Dan Colegrove

Dan Colegrove is a Partner with Prism Group and the Executive Director of the Food Ingredient Safety Coalition.

Dan’s extensive background spans all levels of government entities, corporate environments, and business groups. As a corporate executive, he has built and directed comprehensive public affairs programs for some of the world’s largest corporations and trade associations. He has worked extensively on matters related to global food and agriculture policy, consumer products, retail and marketing, and corporate social responsibility. He is a globally respected expert in U.S. state government relations.

Dan served in several senior executive positions prior to joining Prism Group. He was Vice President of Government Affairs for the world’s largest casual dining company. He directed US state government efforts for America’s largest food company. He was the Director of Global Issues Management for the world’s largest consumer products company, and a Director for the country’s leading consumer products trade association. He was a Chief of Staff in the California State Assembly where he began his career.

Dan is a magna cum laude graduate of San Francisco State University, and lives in Virginia with his wife.
