The FEMA Regulatory Affairs Committee (FRAC) and Flavor Labeling Committee (FLC) summer meetings will take place July 10–11 at the MGM resort at National Harbor, Maryland.
As part of this joint meeting, the FRAC and FLC will host two new innovative programs for the membership:
Strategic Legislative & Regulatory Agenda Development: This session features a discussion on the Trump Administration's activities, legislative agenda needs and budget priorities, and their potential impact on the flavor industry;
FSMA Preventive Controls (PC) Practical Program: Attendees will actively participate in one or more fictional FSMA PC scenarios designed to require participants to work together to solve or troubleshoot food safety problems. A speaker will also be invited to help set the stage for the PC event.
