Reception for First-Time Attendees and New Members

If it’s your first time at a FEMA meeting, or you are new to FEMA, come to the First-Time Attendee and New Member Reception to meet other newcomers, the Board, committee chairs, and FEMA staff.
Attire: Business casual.
For men: slacks, khakis, polo or button-down shirt; sports jacket.
For women: slacks, dress, sundress, casual dress.
Welcome Reception
Sunday, May 2, 6:30PM - 8:00PM
Whether it's your first time or your 101st time, join fellow members and their spouses to kick off the Convention at the Welcome Reception.
Attire: Business casual.
For men: slacks, khakis, polo or button-down shirt; sports jacket.
For women: slacks, dress, sundress, casual dress.
"An Evening in Parrot Cove" Reception and Buffet Dinner
Monday, May 3, 6:30PM - 10:00PM
Don your tropical best for a casual gathering over cool drinks and hot hors d’oeuvres on the Ritz-Carlton’s beach. Then, join us poolside for a delicious buffet dinner under the Naples night sky. This will be an evening to remember.
Attire: Resort casual.
For men: polo shirt, floral or parrot shirts encouraged, khakis, Bermuda shorts.
For women: Bermuda shorts, skorts, sundress, Capri pants, sandals, casual long skirts.
Presidents' Reception
Tuesday, May 4, 7:00PM - 8:00PM
Join our outgoing and incoming presidents as they kick off the evening's events.
Attire: Black tie optional. For men: tuxedo or dark suit and tie. FEMA can arrange for tuxedo rental. For women: cocktail dress, long dresses, or dressy evening separates.
Annual Banquet and Dance
Tuesday, May 4, 8:00PM - 11:00PM
Be a part of the tradition at the Annual Banquet and Dinner. Join old friends and new for an elegant evening of dining and dancing. Congratulate your colleagues as the sports tournaments awards are presented, then dance the night away!
Attire: Black tie optional.
