  • Pumpkin Spice Syrup – make your own or buy a pre-made syrup

Homemade Pumpkin Spice Syrup

Please note you should make this ahead of the demo if you plan to assemble your latte during the Coffee Chat

Ingredients

  • 1/3 cup pumpkin puree fresh or canned
  • 1 cup sugar or Splenda
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 1/4 cups water
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1/4 teaspoon cloves
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground ginger

Instructions

  1. Combine all ingredients in a saucepan and bring to a boil.
  2. Cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally to avoid burning.
  3. Continue cooking until consistency becomes like syrup and begins to coat the spoon (about 10-15 minutes), then remove from heat.
  4. Cool completely, then refrigerate. The syrup will thicken in the refrigerator, but will become syrup again when heated.
