New Website Launch

In Fall 2017, FEMA launched its newly redesigned website. The site centralizes communications to FEMA’s internal and external audiences and provides scientific, regulatory and educational content for members and the public. The site is modernized to include mobile device responsiveness, increased navigation intuitiveness and robust search capabilities. Explore FEMAFlavor.org


CPC Membership Recruitment
The CPCF and Communications and Membership Committees are developing membership materials to explain the value of FEMA membership specifically for CPC in regard to key technical, regulatory and scientific information.


Communication
The Enhanced Communication Committee developed a heat map on priority issues and a tactical framework for public awareness.


Informational Videos
FEMA premiered two videos that show the value of flavors to consumers and educate the public on the importance of the FEMA GRAS program. The first video, “What are Flavors?”, educates consumers on what flavors are and how the flavor industry makes it possible to enjoy great-tasting food and beverages. The second video, “What is FEMA GRAS?”, explains the FEMA GRAS program and why it’s the industry’s gold standard for flavor safety.”
