We are extremely disappointed to announce that FEMA is canceling the 2020 Annual Leadership Conference due to CDC recommendations to cancel events with 50 or more people through mid-May, and White House recommendations on social distancing to avoid gatherings with 10 or more people. FEMA is keeping the health and safety of our members as our top priority when we make these difficult decisions that affect you and your business.
While we’re all impacted by the novel coronavirus (COVID-19), we want to assure you that we will still provide the services and support you expect from FEMA. To that end, FEMA will hold the Annual Business Meeting in a virtual format, and we’ll share additional information as soon as it is available.
Your registration fee will be applied as a credit to a future FEMA event through May 31, 2021.
If your hotel reservations at The Breakers were made in the FEMA room block, they will be automatically canceled. You should receive an email confirmation by March 25, 2020. Please note the hotel will automatically refund your one-night deposit, but due to high volume in their reservation department that refund may take up to several weeks to be processed. The Breakers is currently closed through April 8 with limited reservations staff. If you do not receive an email confirmation, please contact Lindsay Wilson so that we can work with the hotel to ensure your reservation has been canceled and that you do not incur any fees for an un-canceled reservation.
