The Flavor Labeling Workshop will take place 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. on June 19 at the Westin Chicago Northwest in Itasca, Illinois.
The Workshop will include presentations from FEMA’s flavor labeling experts on the most important labeling issues of today. The workshop will address the interpretation and application of FDA’s flavor and food labeling regulations, natural and artificial labeling matters, and the nexus between regulatory authority to use and appropriate labeling of flavors and foods. A focus of the day-long workshop will be issues associated with the appropriate use and labeling of flavors and foods containing flavorings with modifying properties. The workshop will have several opportunities for interaction among attendees and speakers including breakout sessions and a panel Q&A session.
Registration
The Flavor Labeling Workshop is open to both FEMA members and non-members. The registration fee is $450 for FEMA members and $650 for non-members. The registration deadline is June 11.
Hotel Reservations
The group room rate is $159 per night, plus tax, single/double occupancy.
The group room rate is available until Monday, May 28 at 5 p.m. CDT, based on availability. FEMA recommends you make your room reservations as early as possible to ensure rooms are available.
