FEMA 4045 is composed of total phenols >78% in gallic acid equivalents (GAE) on a dry basis; proanthocyanidins >67%; no more than 5% monomeric catechins; moisture <8%; protein <7%; dietary fiber <4%; fat <2%; <1% sugars such as glucose, mannose and sucrose; and ash <1%.
